Construction of the Club at Mexico Beach began in 2005 and was completed in June 2007. Using lessons learned from hurricanes like Katrina, this concrete building is designed and built to withstand even the most severe storms. A metal roof and hurricane shutters for seaward facing windows will decrease chances of damage. In addition, all of the Club's condominiums sit over the parking area providing additional protection against storm surges.
